- 1903-Founded in Wakonda, SD by brothers Lucius and Albert Hatch.
- 1918-Cyrus Hatch, Lucius’ son, purchased the business and ran the store until his retirement in 1961.
- 1946-Cyrus’ sons Ardell and Warren entered the business.
- 1969-Warren and Deloris Hatch opened a new store in Yankton, SD. Meanwhile the Wakonda store was closed and the building was donated to the Seniors Citizens Center in Wakonda.
- 1974-Ron Hatch, son of Warren and Deloris, entered the business.
- Today Hatch Furniture & Flooring is still family owned & operated.

We have a huge inventory in our 40,000 square foot fully-accessorized showroom and adjacent 6600 square foot warehouse. Much of the furniture on our website and almost all of the furniture in our showroom is IN STOCK and ready for delivery.

Delivery & Setup
Our delivery team is experienced and courteous. Once you’ve made your selection,
pre-delivery preparation assures that each item has been inspected and loaded properly for safe transporting to your home. Once we arrive, our delivery team will set up your new furniture exactly where you want it. Delivery is available within 160 miles to areas (even further for large orders). Please check with us for quotes regarding delivery and set-up charges.
